The Problem

In Romania, Restaurants QR menus send you to a PDF page.

Back home in Romania, I’ve noticed that a lot of restaurants menus are behind a QR Code. I expected to be able to see the menu and order what I needed. But this wasn’t the case.

The QR code was just sending me to a Landing Page or to a PDF. With no other functionality.

The Vision

What if...

A restaurant customer could to do so much more for the effort of scanning a QR code.

  • 02What if other people could add items to the same order?
  • 03What if customers could add comments i.e “no salt” to the kitchen?
  • 04What if waiters would get notified when customers need help?
  • 05What if customers could pay right from the app?

At every 100 orders, it saves waiters around 300 trips to the tables!
